mRNA vaccines are the biggest recent/current medical breakthrough/moonshot for ALL diseases, not just viral infections. There could very well be (more) vaccines to prevent & treat cancer (eg pancreatic & melanoma!), malaria, HIV, genetic conditions, & things like CMV that cause untold disease burden
