Suddenly thinking of those pictures of rosaries that the Border Patrol/ ICE have stolen from people they’ve detained.
Ministers now appear to be confirming in broadcast interviews that they would audit and could confiscate assets (including jewellery) excepting wedding rings from the jewellery that they could confiscate.

This is heartbreaking, immoral and disgusting. These stories expose the lie at the heart of every claim to be opposed to children's healthcare in the name of those same children's safety.
NHS Sussex are forcibly detransitioning trans people. These patients need full restoration of their healthcare, and everyone involved in doing this needs to be sacked.

Prosperity gospel is absurd, though it’s also worth remembering it’s directly downstream of Christianity’s inability to adequately address the problem of evil and the relationship between God’s will, human actions, and salvation. Those problems persist even with less gonzo responses.
I don't think we talk enough about the fact that what underpins their belief is a corruption of the bible - prosperity gospel. They think because they are rich , they are blessed by god.

Thatcher's government did this with Section 28, banned the "promotion of homosexuality" as a danger to children, while actively protecting Jimmy Savile and who knows how many other pedophiles. It's the same damn playbook.
I cannot begin to properly articulate how upsetting it is to have had people baselessly accuse trans people of being groomers and pedophiles only for it to come out that they were deliberately doing this as part of a project to provide cover to actual groomers and pedophiles in positions of power

I know this is pedantic, but Kim Davis was not "jailed for refusing to issue same-sex marriage licenses." She was jailed for contempt of court because she refused to follow a court order (she had stopped issuing all marriage licenses). NYT makes it sound like the Woke Police broke down her door.
