When a club pays so little for you, that’s your value and it’s easy to throw you away.

What’s crazy about this season is that if Konate was having a good one instead of an awful
one with countless brain farts, we’d have 6-8 more points and be up there with City.

I don’t know why refs ignore fouls just because the striker was able to get the shot away. Van De Ven’s scissor tackle on Isak was pretty bad. Didn’t even get a yellow. Where was VAR?

America is fatally obsessed with the question, “What if the WRONG people get something they don’t DESERVE?” We will go without healthcare, dignity in old age, and food for children to keep someone, somewhere from getting what is perceived to be a free lunch. This our great national weakness.

It’s really simple - if you play the game according to right wing rules then you’ll lose. Redefine it and have some f-ing principles!

Sad times at Liverpool. I’ve not seen this for a while. Fans turning on players and pitting player v manager. Taking sides.

Not seen this since Rafa and the breakdown that led to Hodgson being appointed. Please don’t let it get that bad!

If you’re backing Slot over Salah then you’re an idiot. If you’re backing Salah over Slot then you’re an idiot.

You should be backing Liverpool football club.

If you don’t know the answer to this question, then you just haven’t been paying attention to what Ian Graham has been saying in public.
🟥 LFC's Strategy: Data vs. Reality! What's Going Wrong:

🗣️@davidlynchlfc "The mix doesn't seem great that the manager's being given now. Was that considered at any point outside of, "Oh, well, he's a good player, he's a good player"

Turn it off! It even reads attachments you send.
If you use GMail, AI (Gemini) was turned on yesterday by default and now scans all of your content for machine learning. To turn off, go to Settings>General and scroll down. Uncheck the box for "Smart features."

There's other "Smart" add-ons as well, but that's the one that reads your content.

Got it! So Robbo made an action on the ball by getting out of the way. So the rules change for Liverpool once again!
November 11, 2025 at 8:59 PM
Don’t forget, City are one of the toughest teams to play when they get ahead.
November 9, 2025 at 6:27 PM
Don’t read too much into this result in isolation, it could have been very different if we were allowed to play the game from 1-1
November 9, 2025 at 6:24 PM
Well, City have been better by a significant margin. The officials have multiplied that margin considerably. Would have been interesting to see the game from 1-1 in the first half.
November 9, 2025 at 6:19 PM
Yes. You give a chance for luck and bias to decide the game for you.
You could argue Liverpool were unlucky with the way Haaland's goal went in, their disallowed goal, and a deflection. But anyone who watched that half knows they were dominated. You have to play so much better than this to have half a chance of winning at Manchester City.

Even Tim Howard, GK and Everton player says Donnaruma’s line of sight was clear and he could not reach the ball. Astonished it was ruled out.
November 9, 2025 at 5:33 PM
This is just a. Corrupt league. Abhi Dhabi’s VAR operator/consultant with the 2 biggest moments of the match
November 9, 2025 at 5:17 PM
That’s bullshit. Donnaruma had a clear line of sight and couldn’t reach it anyway. WTF!
November 9, 2025 at 5:11 PM
Looks like Virgil and Robbo got that switch totally wrong. Left Nunes in acres of space.

Michael Oliver with the penalty from no clear contact. Well done Abhu Dhabi PGMOL

The 400 richest Americans are now worth a record $6.6 trillion.

The entire bottom 50% of America is worth just $4.2 trillion.

Read that back.

When 400 people control more wealth than half a country’s population, we have a very serious problem.

Just like there’s a critical mass of issues that lead to a breakdown of a system, it works the other way too.

I can see a world where Grav come back in with a fit Mac and we play last season’s 3 in midfield and start winning consistently again.

The bit on the Israeli clubs is in the second part of the article. Again, as a freelancer, I'm available to write on these political issues in football, which have many strands to them, if any media outlets are interested.

No surprise that this racism comes primarily from Maccabi Tel Aviv and Beitar Jerusalem. I wrote a bit about these clubs, and the difference between them and Hapoel Tel Aviv, last year, here: morningstaronline.co.uk/article/foot...
Israeli NGO has documented an alarming rise in racism among Israeli supporter groups, with Maccabi Tel Aviv top of the list. The “absence of a serious and effective effort" within Israel Football Association to combat racism should be of serious concern to UEFA. www.theguardian.com/football/202...
Research reveals racist chants on rise in Israeli football – with Maccabi Tel Aviv the worst offenders
Kick It Out Israel found 367 instances in the 2024-25 season – of those, 118 were observed in stands containing Maccabi Tel Aviv supporters
