Fantastic from Liverpool tonight. Thirteen unbeaten. Generally performing better in the harder games too.

This team is good. Erratic, occasionally very frustrating, but lots to be happy about.

Up the Reds.

This is the first time Liverpool have turned a 2-0 lead into a 3-0 lead in any match since last season's League Cup semi-final 2nd leg v Spurs.

It's Liverpool's 52nd match since that game in all comps. #LFC

FT 0-3. Needed that, excellent performance. Setup was spot on, put all of our best pieces on the board where they could hurt the opposition. Counter wasn't always precise but gave them more than enough to think about. Puts everything in our hands to avoid the additional round.

Dominik Szoboszlai is only the third Liverpool player to score or assist a goal in 5+ successive Champions League appearances, after Steven Gerrard (twice - 5 in Feb 2008, 5 in Nov 2008) and Mo Salah (6 in Feb 2023). #LFC

HT 0-1. Nothing more than we've deserved. Got in dangerous positions consistently, without the final pass or finish. Rookie error from Marseille in the makeup of the wall for Dom's free-kick. The split forwards with Dom and Flo central off-ball looked effective.

Bodø executed a similar move throughout the game. Ball to wide channel, runners from deep to pin the City centre backs so that the winger can drive into space left behind. And because City had similar problems to the weekend in terms of midfield cover, they fell for it every single time.
This was a great goal by Hauge to put Bodø/Glimt 3-Ø up v Man/City

Good read this. Karl is right that there are no easy answers. Personally, venting into the vortex isn't helping.

Regardless of Slot's long-term future, we have to focus on what we can get out of the remaining months of this season. It's not what we want, but it's what we got, so let's find a way.

Is Brahim Diaz going to be given the golden boot on the pitch after that?

Sadio Mane, rose above them all.

Mbaye almost with a Michael Owen against Argentina.

Great awareness of space from Sadio there. Totally shifted the emphasis from right to left.

AND THEY'VE ONLY GONE AND SCORED!!!!

Somewhere, Luis Suarez is watching that going "Fair play".

It's no pen, Senegal's goal should have stood, it's going to be unjust that Morocco win this. Dreadful decision by the ref but even worse from the Senegal squad. Sadio built differently.

Sadio staying on the pitch, legend.

59 touched in a half for a creative forward is astonishing.
Its been a very slow burn for Flo so far at #lfc but the pay-off between now and May could be massive

Very decent half, missed pen aside.

15 shots with five on target, much livelier than a lot of recent matches and games against back 3/5/10s

In the long list of extraordinary records Michael has highlighted, this is right up there. How have we never done this before?
Hugo Ekitike and Florian Wirtz are the first pair of substitutes in Liverpool's history to both assist each other after coming on in the same match. #LFC
