I left over 8,000 followers on X.

Why are people still on it?

Make a choice. Then don’t make this one.
Elon Musk, "These lovely small towns in England, Scotland and Ireland, they've been living their lives quietly. They're like hobbits"

"And so one day, 1,000 people show up in your village of 500 and start raping the kids"

"This has now happened, God knows how many times in Britain"

Maybe have a look at the term ‘British born’ and ‘immigration’ and think about definitions?

I mean, I know long throw ins are in vogue but I’d be hard pushed to lob something into the Villa end from the Kop.

That was my first Anfield game of the season.

Is the searching everyone a regular thing now? Never experienced that at a home game.

Szobo was everywhere. At one point he was sat next to me on the sofa.

What also struck me is that the groups were behind the manager tonight. Hearty renditions of his songs.

Felt like common sense won.

All were great tonight.

Always think Anfield is at its best when we have a bad run and the sense of entitlement and sulking gives way to ‘Fuck this!’

Everyone needs to perform tonight.

Two Manics songs in the opening titles of Flog It.

Bet they feel they’ve arrived now.

Isn’t it about time you made peace with the ginger norwegian? If I can manage it with Rodgers etc…

A glorious night for all
Steven Gerrard scored for Liverpool when the Reds beat Bordeaux 3-0 at Anfield on 31 October 2006. Luis Garcia bagged the other two goals.

Fernando Menegazzo headbutted John Arne Riise in the second half and Bordeaux were reduced to 10 men.

262/365

Never heard of them but I loved them. Really upbeat and jolly. A nod from here.
262/365 Two Door Cinema Club 'Tourist History'

I can imagine these being great live. It's that bouncy sort of indie with a really good tune that sounds brilliant in a field with the sun shining.
I can see this getting a lot more plays from me.

261/365

Again, really nice but I have no affinity to it. Just unrelatable.

Nice though.
261/365 Jason Isbell 'Southeastern'

Many years ago I introduced a mate of mine to Steve Earle. He's returned the favour by pointing me towards this lad (who a couple of other folk have mentioned as well).
He's always had excellent taste in music and it's nice to know he hasn't lost his touch.

It's all performative nonsense for clicks. I don't understand 'watchalongs' and why anyone would voluntarily join one. The only entertainment value is from opposition fans when things are going shit. Clicks and clicks though, and revenue is revenue. Probably earn more from failure than success.

I wonder what would happen. It’d be disastrous. More tickets, fewer corporates, loads of new grounds/aways, strong support … hang on!
Relegate us pls

Redmen aside it’s a wool fest.

And I mean ‘wool’ pejoratively here.

You support your team more when they’re struggling.

Big chair pricks.
