We’ve knocked. We’ve called. We’ve rallied. Now it’s time to vote. Big day tomorrow—let’s go, New Jersey! Wishing the best of luck to all these incredible leaders.

In car-dependent communities like my own, careless driving on Halloween can pose massive risk to families trick-or-treating.

If you need not drive today, then DO NOT. If you do, use utmost patience and care and set aside some extra time for your commute: drive slow. Keep our streets safe. 🎃
Yes, Halloween is the deadliest day of the year for child pedestrians—great advice from @mcbazacophd.bsky.social

Disgusting and treasonous. ICE is a stain on our country and the least extreme view is to say that it ought to be abolished and every one of its agents put on trial.
New incredible detail here: ICE says a match in its facial recognition app Mobile Fortify is a "definitive" determination of a person's status, and that this overrides birth certificates. This is an app ICE is using in the field to scan people

Meta’s continuous habit of adjusting into a more abhorrent version of itself has no end in sight.

Earlier this year they approved hate speech based on gender and sexual orientation.

Now, they are encouraging their AI chatbots to engage in “romantic and sensual” interactions with children.
"It is acceptable to engage a child in conversations that are romantic or sensual." Meta removed that language from its internal guidelines after I raised it.

AI experts worry financial incentives will blur the line between human relationships and bot engagement.
