Tuned back into Senator Booker’s filibuster & am genuinely moved to tears—not by the words he’s saying, really—but by the sight of a leader willing to *do something*

I don’t care that it’s performative—We need more people willing to perform principals & virtue—We need examples for others to follow

The Senate has confirmed Kash Patel, who has published an enemies list identical to Trump's, to serve a 10-year term as FBI Director.

He will be a major cog in Trump's vengeance machine to silence and intimidate critics.

The top health care companies in America spent 95% of their profits to make their CEOs & stockholders obscenely rich.

How many Americans would be alive today if those companies spent $2.6 trillion on disease prevention and primary care, instead of stock buybacks and dividends?

Conservative billionaires are funding a coordinated effort to dismantle public education to pay for private school vouchers that largely benefit wealthy families and enable corporations to avoid their fair share in taxes.

Now they have a friend in the White House.

What the heck, MA.
The Trump administration is now allowed to proceed with the federal employee buyout program after a federal judge denied a request to halt the program entirely. Judge George A. O’Toole Jr., a U.S. District Court judge in the District of Massachusetts, did not rule on the program’s legality.
