MLS moving the schedule to align with European leagues makes a lot of sense for transfers & business generally. And also for reducing swampass in places like Texas & Florida. A two month break in the middle of the season should be interesting, as should Nov/Dec/Mar games in Minneapolis & Canada.
MLS will take a break from mid-December through early to mid-February, as reported yesterday.
Will likely see more games in warmer markets in December/Feb, and conversely more in northern markets in July-August.
But never more than 3 in row for a team at home/away.

BREAKING: MLS owners officially voted to flip to a "summer-spring" format beginning in mid-July and running through the end of May. Will start in 2027.

Senate passes bill to reopen the government as 8 Democrats join with Republicans to send it to the House
The legislation would keep the government funded through Jan. 30, without extending ACA funds slated to expire. It now goes to the House, which could vote as early as Wednesday.

With nearly all the votes in, the 👀👀👀 60-40 margin is holding for Democrats in Georgia thanks to things like a notable flip of suburban Fayette County and Saddam-like numbers in ATL core counties of Fulton/DeKalb/Clayton.
