Hot damn that’s a helluva win for the Wings in Denver. If you’d told me going into b2b games against the Avs that the Wings could take 2pts I’d have taken that deal without hesitation. One more before the break, at least a point would be helpful. #LGRW

The more I think about it, the more I’m convinced the Democrats have to push their hand immediately. The parallels with the delays and subsequent failures after January 6th are blaring warning signs about what will happen if they don’t go after the issues with ICE and CBP at the root RIGHT NOW.

For any elected official who needs to hear this, I impart a lesson learned from the NFL:
When the other team is tired and on the back foot, you don’t call a timeout so they can catch their breath. You grind their fucking face into the dirt until the final whistle blows and you’ve won the game.

I do wish they had a presence here but this from East Fork - one of my favorite pottery brands based in Asheville, NC - has to be one of the best statements or posts I’ve seen from a company or brand lately. More of this would be terrific. Takes courage.

I wish I expected more from Emma Hayes here but… sadly this is in the ballpark of what I expect from her. She’s an incredible coach, 100%. But I’ve never gotten the vibe that she’ll stick her neck out for what’s right. Hasn’t spoken with the team about it?! #USWNT

![First of all, my condolences are to all the family members for those victims. Because it doesn't matter - I can sit here and talk about the loss of tragic life everywhere.
It's not something that first of all, as a mother, I want to see. It's upsetting on so many levels to see that happen, and I think they're in everybody's minds.
But I haven't spoken about it with the squad, genuinely.
I think the way we structure our camps, there's not a lot of sit-down time. Though I have got a Lego time today with them, another one, and paint-by-numbers - because I like that one too.
[I note here, not to opine on Emma’s words in the moment of reporting them: if you’ve seen her Instagram feed, you know she’s been doing this both as a mental activity and having players engage with her son Harry. - JT]
But we haven't spoken about it. And maybe that's because they're all reasonably new to camp, and whether they're familiar with it or not, whether they're comfortable talking about it or not, I don't know. But it hasn't been a topic of conversation this week in camp.
And perhaps they're having it amongst themselves, but they're definitely not having it in front of me. I do think this is noteworthy.. the silence from a lot of the current #USWNT is disappointing, at minimum. They dhave another game tomorrow and I’m very curious to see what, if anything, we see or hear from them. It was good to see Becky & Sam Mewis speak out but I expect more from the squad.
