Just put in my application to get a new passport as me! Interestingly, did not have to approve the payment in my app. Got to go to a mega-secure office for a 10-minute interview next week. (Then probably another day off work to sign for it.) This stuff is getting real!

Tax bands are a bodge that was invented to simplify the calculations when they had to be done in £/$/d, and without computers.
Now those simplifications are no longer necessary, we should move towards a quadratic regression.
