Just learned that the Dem Party charges $500 to $750 for local candidates to get access to the program that provides voter lists and maps.
What a idiotic strategy if you're trying to win elections, but great strategy if all you want to do is extract rents and direct them to consultants.

It is becoming increasingly apparent that the position of the Trump Republican Party is: “constitution, nonstarter.”
Rep. Mark Harris: "Some of these things are nonstarters. Having judicial warrants? To me, hat's a nonstarter. Being able to make off their mask, putting them at risk? That's a nonstarter. I would say anything that's going to hamstring the work of ICE, that's just not going to go anywhere."
