Jon texted us for months in anticipation of getting to talk Mon Mothma.

🚨BREAKING: DEMS DRAW RED LINE IN DHS APPROPS: NO FUNDING INCREASE FOR ICE. POLICY RIDERS GROWING. STORY COMING IN MIGRANT INSIDER
🚨NEWS: Senate Dems are reportedly offering ICE funding increases in exchange for body cams and de-escalation training for agents.

Body cams can be turned off. De-escalation training can be ignored.

Unclear if no masks, requiring ID badges, and no immunity is on the table.

When you think about it to get oil you have to drill 100s of feet into the earth and where you drill might not even be that good of a spot and then you have to make sure you don't spill it all before getting it into a long ass pipeline that you hope doesn't burst but yes very reliable energy source
Burgum: "When the sun goes down, there's zero solar right now in the system in PJM. And wind as we know, companies in Europe that are in this business are saying they missed their quarterly earnings because it wasn't as windy as we thought it was gonna be. There are not reliable sources of power."

How is this not inciting violence?

Why must they remind ICE that they have immunity?

One of their agents just shot a killed a woman in broad daylight and they’re effectively telling them to go ahead and do whatever they want because they’re above the law.

Be safe Minneapolis.

It's time to officially let X/Twitter go. That platform's decline from a vibrant public square to what is now a platform for hate & disinformation has been painful to experience. I’ve already in this great community & look forward to continuing our conversations.

If workers have to be there, you have to pay them; if am I not getting paid, I am leaving.

Absolutely some of these companies would exploit the hell out of exemptions like this.
Some House floor drama as Republicans are currently losing a vote on a bill to let employers to exclude workforce education and development training from minimum wage and overtime calculations. Labor-friendly R's (there are a few, sometimes) voting no, Johnson huddling with them for ~30 mins now

Absolutely despicable.
There seemingly is no limit to the depths of depravity the administration will go to cover for their propaganda machine.

We need to arrest and prosecute the federal agent that murdered Renee Nicole Good. And we need trials for those involved.

yeah obviously lol this is why they crash out so hard on people who are following them, they know it's 1A protected
HAPPENING NOW: In federal court in MN, DOJ is struggling to articulate why a person following an ICE vehicle — so long as they are obeying traffic laws — can be stopped for "reasonable suspicion" of a crime.

Judge Menendez sharply questioning that contention.

They also deployed chemical irritants into the eyes of the press. Abolish ICE now.

Everything you can do to slow down ICE's ethnic cleansing pogrom will save lives.

If you make it so it takes 12 goons to do a 6-goon job, you're saving lives. Every minute they spend in location 1 is a minute they can't spend in location 2.

Every squad they deploy to your city saves another city.
Every extra hour that ICE spends facing off with activists is an hour they can't spend kidnapping other people.

Every extra minute ICE has to spend contingency planning around activists and neighbors, every extra officer ICE has to put on a kidnap squad, is a drain on their efficiency.
