Last term I tried an experiment: I walked into my Tech and Design Ethics class, admitted that I had *no idea* what to do about ChatGPT - so I would let them figure it out.

bluesky's blocking policies lead to some funny situations where there will be some drama going on and you'll see a post you aren't allowed to respond to which is quote-responding to a post you see as blocked.

i watch catan analysis videos sometimes and players will deliberately make optically bad plays to reduce the chance that their opponents rob from them on a 7, even in like, some of the strongest tournaments in the world, and it hurts me so much every time.

yeah they've gotten through dehumanizing all the non-white people (the US was largely there before this started) so now they're hitting white people from the weak angles. started with trans whites and leftist whites, now dialing up to gay whites and white women.

somewhat impressive testament to the addictiveness of social media that twitter is now a csam and non consensual porn site and a huge number of people haven't seriously considered that it's within their power to stop visiting it.
