Turns out @ucl.ac.uk have a gorgeous observatory pretty local to me. It'd be rude not to see it. Huge thanks to the UCLO team for their tour - loved seeing the systems first built over 100 years ago as well as the latest systems and learning about their work. Great stuff.

I think my favourite line in Katamari Damacy is when a cousin attempts an explanation of why they're on earth, and the King replies "We have no idea what you're talking about." Excellent.

Similarly, I've had Google Search AI summaries prioritize Grokipedia over Wikipedia for citations a few times and that just seems insane as a product decision.

Almost sounds trite, but... if you like something, or want it to exist, it does help if you pay for it. It's so easy to assume someone else will, or there's money from elsewhere, but... if you can, it makes a difference. So, scripted audio comedy? I like that, I'll buy some.

Will Amol Rajan leaving the Today programme stop me from joking he's applying for every BBC job going each time one comes up? Absolutely not, I'd need to come up with a new joke and I only have about three.

A rare exception to University Challenge's splitting of all music into "popular music" or "classical music" tonight, as "country music" has clearly been deemed never to be popular enough to count as that
