Rob Reiner had a hand in writing, producing, directing, knowing a guy, pairing up talents, punching up a script on the down low, doing a cameo for like so much of the funniest shit coming out of Hollywood the last 50 years. His influence is seen everywhere

Heartbroken writing this: a hate-driven massacre in Sydney at Bondi Beach targeted Jewish people peacefully celebrating the first night of Hanukkah: at least 12 dead, including a rabbi, and many injured.

This was an antisemitic terror attack. A hate crime.

Huh. One of the reasons I use my name and accurate (if outdated) photo is for personal accountability. It doesn't mean I won't use swears or call someone out: it means I have to stand behind what I write.
if you heard the way the same people talk to customer service workers it would make perfect sense
I've heard this before. it seems bizarre, but really does seem to be the case.

My hottest take is that letting cops park in red zones for mundane errands and coffee breaks; I think “you can break the law at your discretion as a job perk” is the small domino that ends in the large domino of “shooting protesters in the face with rubber bullets”
It must be wild to get to abuse the public then pay for it with the public's money

Most Canadians will be exempt from showing 5 years of social media history to gain entry to the United States.

Then again, most Canadians are refusing to set foot in the United States because they feel it’s important to boycott fascism.

This isn’t likely to woo them back:
