There are a few things I don't entirely jive with here (Generations and Insurrection and Search for Spock are *not* terrible IMO 😂), but framing NEMESIS as a 'Star Trek: Dracula' is actually incredibly interesting and might make it a better movie...?

Somehow people are so insulated or willfully ignorant enough to think this is hyperbole. As someone who's now had to become a full-time online teacher, I can assure you it's not.

The use of the objective, passive voice in this is so funny. It makes it feel like the 'hex' and the subsequent Christian prayer are either equally silly or equally credible.

Catching up w/Starfleet Academy—we've been enjoying so far, but “Vox in Excelso” feels like the first really great episode. Amazing range and development for the character of Jay-Den Kraag, & an overall really clever use of the school setting to tell a rich, classic Trek-esque moral debate story.

Liam was taken from Columbia Heights, the town just south of my high school in Fridley and just north of the Arts district in NE Minneapolis. I spent a lot of time with friends there after extracurriculars. News of his abduction completely broke my heart. I’m glad he’s home. #Comics4Liam

A little late in catching up on some of these, but the real winners for Star Trek in 2025 seem to be some of the mixed media offerings. Not to diminish the work that went into SNW or Section 31, but The Last Starship & Khan are truly remarkable.
