It may have been avoided today, but I’m actually surprised this hasn’t happened already and won’t be surprised if it actually happens.
It wouldn’t take much to push the EWR sector over the edge, just one sick call and a family emergency or whatever and that’s game over at Newark for a shift.

The OMB impoundment memo's consequences aren't just about disrupting, in a profound way, *current* funds. It also makes it extremely hard to negotiate *future* spending deals if no one at the table can trust that the executive branch will actually stick to the deal at the execution phase.

I think it's important to not say he's "remolding the u.s. government apparatus" or whatever because that's an automatic Eye Glaze, and instead focus on how he's actively attempting to make our country dumber, slower, poorer. He's turning us into the NY Jets
