When I was training folks in the workforce development sector to be both connected with *and* helpful to their customers, I used a slightly longer version: 'People won't remember what you said or did, but they'll *always* remember how you made them feel.'
I always think about the maya Angelou quote because it’s really true,

“People will always remember how you made them feel,"

The U.S. government just banned five people from entering the country because it doesn’t like their speech. This ban, according to the State Department, is necessary to protect free speech.

If that sounds insane to you, congratulations on your reading comprehension.

ICE’s occupation in Memphis, the largest Black-majority city in the country, has reshaped daily life, keeping kids out of school and parents from work, turning grocery shopping into a mission that risks one’s family being torn apart.
I'm a veteran criminal justice reporter. I've never seen anything like ICE-occupied Memphis.

There's literally an EO forbidding federal funding for antisemitism!
As a Jew, it’s fun watching the administration post Christian nationalist messages while also saying they are doing everything they can to curb antisemitism.
