this should be obvious but the reason Trump is working desperately against Epstein transparency is because he's guilty
November 12, 2025 at 6:06 PM
I figured he'd try to flip any republicans considering voting for to release the #EpsteinFiles. It may not matter with the drip, drip, drip we're starting to see.
The fact that Trump is calling Mace and Boebert today pleading with them to remove their names from the Epstein petition at the last minute tells you everything you need to know about how incriminating the info in the files is to him and his cronies.

Yes there's a lot of denial, but I've seen it: when it snaps, it snaps hard.

"Powerful men covered up child sex abuse" isn't outlandish when you've seen that happen in church, boy scouts, school athletics, and every other social pillar of your conservative middle-class life in the past few decades.

YES: Democrats have this horrible habit of not asking for things they can't get. Which means there is no opportunity to ever build expectation that those things should happen.

But Trump is now implicitly implicated in child sex trafficking, either as a client or a trafficker. He should be removed.
Earnest post: there is increasingly direct evidence that Trump participated in child sex trafficking or at least knew about it.

He should resign, be impeached and removed from office, and prosecuted.

Even if you don’t think that WILL happen it’s important to say publicly that it SHOULD happen.

Using this post to once again hype my feed of independent and nonprofit journalism.

Read and share their work, and if you can, financially support those who are important to you. Journalism is expensive. Accountability journalism even more so.
Other folks have said it, but let me just note that:

(1) lots of talented, must-read journalists have been let go from their jobs over the last year

(2) millions of Americans are abandoning current media outlets and looking for new alternatives

Seems like a sure-fire business opportunity here?

The top issue of the 2016 campaign was email server management and information security.

That ushered in an admin that quickly compromised information security in much worse ways. It got much less attention. And Americans re-empowered them in 2024.

Signal leak alone was orders of magnitude worse.
Our leading news organizations turned a cache of ultimately-innocuous emails into a scandal-coded weeklong series of front page stories leading into the 2016 election. If they do not cover the "emails from notorious pedophile implication the President" emails with the same fervor, it's curious!

If the GOP wins, then we'll lose any chance to ever see anything of the Epstein files. Matt van Epps is a maga endorsed by trumpf, in deep red 7th congressional district in Tennessee.
We need this democratic lady to win. Her opponent says she's like Mandani. Nice.

I love that the MAGA talking heads are out there lying about food prices. The most obvious expense everyone has. It makes the most die hard republicans question what else they are. lying about. Hint: EVERYTHING! 🙃
They’ve laid off so many people that the government is now getting its economic data from DoorDash.

Folks have been telling me they’ve noticed I’ve gotten “a lot more political” on social media this year.

Of course I have.

The circumstances have gotten nightmarishly worse, and the consequences of inaction and staying silent infinitely more obvious.

Everyone needs to get “a lot more political.”

Elites (rich, powerful, assholes) are shit. Not to be confused with experts (scholarly, bureaucratic, knowledgeable) in their field, who functioning societies need. Just finished “Goliath’s Curse” by Luke Kemp and he has the historic analysis to dismantle the autocratic, great man myth.

The Dem-controlled house passed a bill to make them permanent several times before 2021, and a permanent version was included in the original Build Back Better bill.

Manchin said he’d only agree to a 3-year extension so they had to cut it to that to get his vote.

Kind of wild that while food assistance was withheld from millions of families, one Trump-supporting billionaire (Ellison) saw his net worth grow more this year than the entire SNAP budget. And the YTD gains of the other four richest men would’ve fully covered salaries for all 2M federal employees.
