He got out after 3 months in an ICE gulag.
My electrician is a green card holder who's been here since he was a kid. He got married to a citizen, applied for citizenship, went to court for the papers and when he got there ICE kidnapped him and he's been locked up for a month.

It is really infuriating to see how misogyny really does unite men across the sociopolitical spectrum. And, in so far as the Epstein files go, they sort women into two categories: fuckable or irrelevant. When they near a hint of accountability they complain about not being able to make women prey.

A reminder that one of the reasons that so many “good people” signed up to be Nazis was careerism. In the end, it didn’t matter WHY, they were Nazis still the same.
Another batch of Trump's judicial nominees refused in their confirmation hearings today to publicly acknowledge that Joe Biden won the 2020 election, which annoyed Sen. Richard Blumenthal enough for him to call them "monkeys" and "puppets"

Extremely unpopular opinion: AI is really useful for structural, program-building work. Anyone using it just for gen AI “writing” is using it for its worst/lowest possible use. Of course it’s not a good copywriter. But it’s really good at synthesizing and structuring data from multiple sources.

Police procedurals make us think law enforcement officers are better than they are and normalize the extrajudicial killings of ordinary people.
