So, this sounds flippant, but I mean this with my whole heart:

Women, sometimes the healing “meditative breathwork” you need isn’t slow, calming breaths

but instead loud,
rageful
screaming.

Just now realized there are a whole bunch of animals out there in the world with the same birthday as me — and we’re all just going through this life thing together. 🌎

1st book was pubbed, but have had easily 6+ trunked novels. PBs it’s more. 99% of trunked things stay that way.

Also worth noting I firmly believe some books need to be written *to get them out of your brain* & they’re not meant to be published — and that’s okay. It’s marbles in a tube. Makes room.
Hey authors -- I'm curious. For various reasons, we usually only see the highlight reals on social media, but how many novels have you trunked over your career? Especially post first published book?

Not all our Keepers wear green!

Zebra foals imprint on their mothers by recognising their unique patterns of stripes. When we rescued this little foal - orphaned after a lion attack - we dusted off our Zebra coat, so that she didn’t feel alone and knew who to follow.

It’s Appreciate A Dragon Day?! I almost missed it.

Boy howdy, have I got a book for you. (Because we should all be counting snot otters as modern day dragons, yes??)

Enjoy 👉 “Animal Planet meets Captain Underpants in the ickiest, squickiest, most fart-filled World of Weird Animals book yet.”

A few years back, I ran an Epic Authors Academy, aimed at helping authors embrace what they can control about their careers and (hopefully) gracefully accept the stuff they can’t.

I just learned that one of my amazing students has her debut MG releasing tomorrow!
