When our dog is wearing clothes (almost constantly in winter) I'm like "Oh, this is our 6 year old human child, mysteriously turned into a dog. We love her all the same." But as soon as she's naked again it's like "Wtf, there's a dog in this house."
This is the first time I've ever cheered for the Broncos in my life

there needs to be a sex offender registry but for ice guys. you should have to go door to door when you move to a new area and inform your neighbors that you used to be an ice guy. they shouldn't be allowed with 500 feet of a school

The government is saying that violence rules. That snatching foreign leaders and territories, and shooting US citizens in their cars at point blank range, is justified. That resistance is not only futile, it is dangerous. They can say these things. But they cannot force us to believe them.

Around 80% of bus stops across the metro do not have somewhere for riders to sit. Even fewer have a shelter. An interactive map from KCUR shows where to find amenities at each bus stop in the metro, and what the area transit agencies are doing to add more.

I called this “The Orville Peck Principle.“

I did not get on the Internet one day explicitly looking for a masked queer cowboy to start crooning at me, but guess what? It was exactly what I fucking needed.
Were 90s kids clamoring for a Batman cartoon with 1930s Art Deco aesthetics? Is that what the market demanded? Or did some really smart creative people have a vision and make a genre-defining hit that sustained 20 years of TV shows? If you want success look for vision, not just metrics.

A huge swathe of our societal problems can be blamed on the fact that only a chunk of youngest gen X and elder-to-mid millennials actually understand the implications of and the antidotes to algorithmic feeds.
