Never a truer word said - we need to focus on people before profit. Not to the exclusion of profit, but putting people front and centre in all our decision making processes, while considering profit a secondary gain. #wapol #auspol

A dilemma that must weigh heavily on the minds of the people of Palestine today in the face of the apartheid and genocide being inflicted by Zionist Israel. The words "Jews" and "Germans" are interchangeable with "Palestinians" and "Israelis." #CollectivePunishment #FreePalestine #StopIsrael

He's been a multi-millionaire property developer for 35 years, almost all of his life

For a brief 8½ in his 20s he was a suburban cop, a boring standard nobody cop

He's traded & lived off that ever since

Let's stop playing his game, call him what he is - a multi-millionaire property developer

That ship sailed so long ago, it's barely a blip on the horizon.
And here we were, slightly smug in the belief that overseeing #auspol elections was an apolitical, totally independent body 🙄

My latest article for The Shot.

Please join me as we mercilessly mock Queen Gina, patron saint of global warming, and her merry gang of sycophants at something called National Mining Day

. . . or as Gina would say, National Mahning Day.

Because they want to see Australia devolve into the same state of (for now) controlled anarchy as the US is now.
Why do all these people want Dutton, The Thug, to be Prime Minister ?

And, in the lead-up to a Federal election here in Australia, it's possible the same tactics will be maintained, just like the Dems did.
We'll never learn.
Everything Trump does, he makes sure to attack Biden in the process.

When Biden did things in 2021, he didn’t mention Trump at all.

Dems think this puts them above the fray, but all it does is show how bad at politics they are.

Trump is president again because Dems held back!

Can we please, please get trending topics for Australians?

Please 🙏🏽

Xitter has it, which doesn't help because the place is a toxic hellhole. But all we many, many Australians here on Bluesky see is American stuff - we have our own topics

H.L.Mencken wrote this in 1918 and it remains as depressingly true as ever: “The whole aim of practical politics is to keep the populace alarmed - and hence clamorous to be led to safety - by menacing it with an endless series of hobgoblins, all of them imaginary.”

Not now.
So, does Albo saying he's not commenting on the global trolling Trump is doing, and saying AUKUS is solid, mean that Australia is going to help him invade Panama and Greenland in two weeks? #auspol
