President of the Oglala Sioux Tribe has called for the release of tribal members detained by ICE in Minnesota.
“Tribal citizens are not aliens and are categorically outside immigration jurisdiction," he said. "Tribal members are U.S. citizens by statute and citizens of the Sioux Nation by treaty.”

The Albo government's antisemitism bill is a rushed hatchet job. Nobody has proper time to consider it carefully enough, and it will have all sorts of unintended consequences if passed. It is the worst kind of law-making: moral panic induced, pandering to powerful lobby groups' demands.

In Albo's new antisemitism bill, the definition of "hate crime", which underpins the new regime to proscribe "hate groups" like the Nazis, specifically excludes "advocating genocide". That is, advocating genocide is treated as not being a racist hate crime. Now, why would that be?
