I told the youngest child that she was on dinner duty tonight, as The Bloke & I had been busy doing ‘things that needed to get done” & she had been at her laptop doing fun, creative things.

Ugh! I just spent way to much time creating a flyer to advertise a discount on my online market stall. Despite following all of the guides & tutorials about Instagram sizes, it looked wrong when I posted it and I had to start again. I hate that they keep moving the goalposts!

I just took a load of corrugated cardboard to my local recycle/recovery store and in return, got a large bag of car interior fabric samples .
I could’ve looked through the pile of samples for hours!
Now to find somewhere to put them in the fully stuffed studio.

The verdict is in. This is not at all unpleasant. It reminds me of IKEA ginger thins, or those cinnamon scroll biscuits we used to get when I was younger. There's also hints of almond, like Amaretto.

What's with all of the critters deciding that this year will be the one where they wreak havoc in my garden? Have I done something to piss them off? I try to be nice to the ravens for this specific reason. Sure, they haven't had as many bread crusts thrown their way lately, but c'mon!

I’m currently flicking through an embroidery book from 1998.
There are some cool techniques used throughout, but the colours and fabric choices are not my thing. Lots of jewel colours & metallic threads. And those Australiana colours that were everywhere in 90’s couture fashion. No thanks!
