I’m so tempted to get the Switch 2 soon, but alas, I work minimum wage and only make so much money, so I probably won’t acquire such a console for a while.

As someone who was baptized and confirmed as a Catholic, it always angers me to see so-called “Catholics” use the guise of religion and Jesus as means to fuel their own bigotry and discriminatory actions. Jesus always fought for the poor and the marginalized. These fuckers spit on his name.
These past couple of days have certainly been overwhelming from a news standpoint. Whether it be the murder of Jonathan Joss or the anti-ICE protests in LA or the Freedom Flotilla, one thing is for certain - we as a community must stick together and combat the forces that want to break and kill us.

Watched the ending half of the Tonys tonight (missed the first half because of work), and there are three definites:
1. Cole Escola deserves all the praise they’ve been getting, and their win was so, so deserved.
2. Audra McDonald is a legend.
3. Cynthia Erivo was an awesome host.

Willi Castro, baseball player for the Minnesota Twins used the trans flag as eye black to showcase his support for our community. I hope he realizes how much this matters for trans people. The last 2D animated film Disney ever made was released 16 years ago. It’s not that long ago if you’re thinking about it. Studios can certainly make 2D films again, they just don’t want to because it “costs money”. As a result, we’re left with live action CGI slop like the “remake” of Lilo & Stitch.
The visual downgrade from the original movie to this one truly cannot be understated. Just flat-out empty.

Even if I’m not a Texan (I’m a Pennsylvania native and resident), my heart breaks for any person that lives in the state right now, that is suffering through this abysmal, loathsome state government. Greg Abbott is a massive piece of shit, and I hope he deserves no peace. This law will hurt people.
I ran a Gay/Straight Alliance club in a high school for a few years. I wish the people creating this ban could spend a day having a marginalized kid who feels unsafe in their skin...and has a 19% chance of attempting suicide.
