I like to think that she was poking fun at problematic media. But that problematic media is new media. It was released this month in 2025, going into 2026, and it still has all of the problems of the racist tropes and narratives of the past, this time arguably WORSE.

I think dismissing it as trash is just kind of an anti intellectual approach.
Pop culture has a tremendous effect on our cultural outlook, & should be discussed accordingly.
Especially when those topics reinforce cultural biases.

Apparently Americans need to be reminded yet again that we have never suspended elections during a war. Lincoln was reelected during the Civil War (a large part of why we have absentee voting), FDR during WW2. It's never been true, and scaring folks with untrue things makes you not a good person.
