❗️Poland will withdraw consent (close down) the Russian consulate in Gdansk as a response to the sabotage incidents on the railroad - FM Sikorski.

This is the last remaining Russian consulate in Poland. The previous ones, in Poznan and Krakow, were closes as responses to earlier acts of sabotage.

NSW Premier says he does not apologise for [yet more] hate speech laws - the first three versions did not, on any measure, reduce racism in NSW - after NSW Police chose not to criminalise any of the nazis chanting nazi slogans at NSW Parliament on 8 Nov 2025.

The ban is bad policy and it's clear not enough has been done to prepare young people and their families about what is about to happen. Where are the education packages and support that were promised? Just telling kids to log off and go touch grass is not going to cut it!

Calling Labor's current approach "incrementalism" or "small target" or whatever makes it sound like they are are an overly cautious progressive govt. Matters like this show that they are actively pursuing policies that make them indistinguishable from the centre right: not incrementalists at all.
Disgraceful & tragic what governments have done to this once science powerhouse! www.abc.net.au/news/2025-11...

One of my favorite bike lane protests:
1) Clearly demonstrates the issue
2) Proposes a systemic solution
3) Creates content that can be spread and shared easily
4) Does so with humor and heart
Sharing this again just because I love it so much. #justaminute

Car drivers who block cycle lanes for “just a minute” force people on bikes into car traffic. It’s dangerous, it’s selfish, it’s illegal (NZ) and it deserves the mocking it gets in this protest action.

I'll summarise for you: she is another member of the political class, not having worked outside politics. A problem that is rife on both sides of politics and goes along way to explaining why huge segments of the electorate can't see themselves within their own democracy.

Wilson grew up steeped in politics but has made her own way as an MP praised for her energy and efficiency in mastering the education and treasury portfolios.

All nations committed under the Paris Agreement to limit global warming to 1.5 degC for good reason. Instead many governments are beholden to the fossil fuel lobby and even subsidize fossil fuel use with your money. We’re now at 1.4 degC & emissions are rising not falling.

In our struggle to be better, humanity is invariably unable to put aside personal greed and entrenched myths about who deserves a safe life, nor, to our shame, can it organise to put those aside to save itself from certain destruction.
More than 1,600 fossil fuel lobbyists granted access to the Cop30 climate negotiations in Belém (Brazil), 12% up from last year’s talks in Baku, Azerbaijan.

What should be the most serious, urgent talks on the planet continue to be a farce.

WATCH: Seriously, if you’re following ANY bike-lane debate, you HAVE TO WATCH this news story. You actually can’t make this up. Ford claims without evidence that bike-lanes are bad for small business, and THE ACTUAL BUSINESS ASSOCIATION obliterates him with data.
