The bluebird is a male, and we see the electric blue of his head, but the predominant part facing us is the coppery-orange and pale white front. He is standing amidst little pink-and-red tree blossoms, but I like to imagine these are instead the extracted organs of his enemies. So let's just pretend this bluebird stands vengefully astride a scattering of viscera -- gobbets of gore taken as a prize from his unnatural and invasive foes. I'm sorry I've really made this a gross photo. It's actually quite nice. Kind of a dreamy vibe to it, what with the wall of yellow forsythia blurring in the background, and here I am adding drippy bits and internal organs. I'm sorry. I'll do better next time. Probably. I’ve decided that my “no AI, ever” stance was too extreme. I mean, drawing is such a drag, I just created four cards in two minutes, and it probably-definitely stole its imagery from my competitors so that’s just, like, good business sense! 💪 #Efficiency #GirlBoss

The last several months have been grim. I’ve been past my saturation point for quite a while.

Nonetheless, I keep making art. It’s honestly one of the only things keeping me afloat (mentally, not financially, lol).

These images are from a STUNNING day my husband @ayayronpdx.bsky.social and I spent on Sauvie Island in December. It was raining heavily in Portland, but a small sunbreak was over the island. While the sun was still up, the landscape was bright and contrasty.

Hello BlueSky! It’s always hard to describe myself because I have many interests that intersect, but I’ll start out with some black and white 35mm film photos I took last summer while backpacking Ozette Triangle in Washington. My husband and I develop our own negatives and prints! 📷 🎞️
