Also this is Soap. Friendly cat turned up on neighbors doorstep while we were at wedding. She’s now in our bathroom until she gets spayed tomorrow and goes to her new foster home.

This story is fantastic. It's been on hiatus against the creator's will because of legal shenanigans inflicted upon her, but it's worth reading. That heavy-browed green dude in the top portrait is my absolute favorite team leader of all time. He's The Real Deal. I'd want him in my D&D party!

I don't know who needs to hear this, but if you have friends struggling through the shutdown, consider inviting them over for a family dinner this week. Make too much. Insist they take leftovers home. Some folks can't say they need help out loud but will appreciate the kindness.
