THREAD: Judge Ellis is the first federal judge to review extensive body cam video of DHS's actions in Chicago. She finds that DHS *repeatedly* misled the public and made claims that were disproven by agents' own videos.

I'll go through some of the most egregious ones here.
II. Credibility The Court next addresses the credibility of the parties’ evidence and witnesses. After reviewing all the evidence submitted to the Court and listening to the testimony elicited at the preliminary injunction hearing, during depositions, and in other court proceedings, the Court finds Defendants’ evidence simply not credible. [FN 6] Plaintiffs submitted a mountain of evidence, providing the Court with over eighty declarations, numerous videos and articles, and other evidence. Defendants did not rebut anything that Plaintiffs set forth in their declarations or testimony, even with BWC footage. [FN 6] In another case considering some of the same evidence presented to this Court, another court in this district also found that the perceptions of certain of Defendants’ declarants, such as Hott and Parra, were not reliable. See Illinois v. Trump, No. 25-cv-12174, 2025 WL 2886645, at *5 (N.D. Ill. Oct. 10, 2025) (noting a “troubling trend of Defendants’ declarants equating protests with riots and a lack of appreciation for the wide spectrum that exists between citizens who are observing, questioning, and criticizing their government, and those who are obstructing, assaulting, or doing violence”), motion to stay denied in part, 155 F.4th 929 (7th Cir. 2025).

Always promise what the targets of manipulation want, frame what you are doing as delivering what they ask for, and then do whatever you want anyway. 5. Undermine any circumstances that stand in your way for example if a wilderness area you want to exploit is pristine, get in and make an oil spill then there is nothing left to protect; or if you want to destroy public education install an abuser, destroy the agency, point at it as a failure of government and then implement your private education plan for profit. 6. Isolate the targets of abuse by dismantling support systems, cutting off access to resources, and opposing anything that could bolster the targets of abuse. 7. Always take the best and leave the least possible for the targets of abuse such as funneling PPE dollars to military contractors while heath care workers use trash bags for protection. 8. Always use unfavorable circumstances to your advantage and if possible, turn circumstances against the targets of abuse such as allowing COVID to ravage blue states while funneling dollars to red states. 9. Always blame the victim for anything bad that happens to them or anything that you do to them. 10. Always pretend to be the victim in any situation, co-opt any symbols or methods your targets use for selfdefense. 11. Never allow scrutiny of your actions and always reject any investigations. 12. Use high control, propaganda, fear, threats, and manipulation to manage the victims of abuse. 13. Never admit to any wrong. 14. Whatever you want to do is the only thing that is important and any suffering you cause along the way is inconsequential or ev… A quadrant chart is a type of data visualization that divides a scatter plot into four quadrants, often used to identify trends, patterns, and relationships between two variables.
