Anyway, watching this film just now jolted loose a whole cascade of stuff that's evidently been memory-holed for 40 years, not least because I know all these spaces intimately, and it seems none of them had greatly changed in the meantime. Quite an extraordinary trip down memory lane.

I’m still thinking about this documentary; it’s so fascinating to me that Eminem a) made a documentary about his hardcore fans and b) made sure to feature women, POC, and an openly trans dude. It’s almost as if he wants people to know he’s not a right wing monster!
