Has anyone in the US witnessed an Aurora? Should’ve been able to see it as low as Pennsylvania.

It has taken medical science 200 years to advance humans to the point where people are so healthy and living so long that they can deny that science and medicine is what got us here.

I’ve come to the realization that News stands for Nonstop Exaggerations Without Substance.
this is so perplexing do they think that we think that Zohran is already mayor?

Voters who supported Senate Majority Leader John Thune and Senate Majority Whip John Barrasso in their most recent general elections = 440,734

NYC voters who ranked Zohran #1 in the *primary* = 432,305

Perfect distillation of how unrepresentative the Senate is

Only a matter of time.

I do wonder why it’s taken so long for personal AI agents to come to market.

"So what might have changed if thinkers like Baldwin had been recognized as philosophers, not just commentators? If philosophy departments taught Baldwin’s meditations on identity and freedom alongside Locke and Rousseau,..."

Why aren’t great Black thinkers called philosophers?
“Philosophy has long positioned itself as the domain of pure reason, supposedly above the fray of politics and identity. But scratch the surface, and the bias becomes clear,” Justin Ray writes.

This is so simple, but many of the best ideas are retrospectively!

This would be great for communities with specialization or special interests like scientists, educators and even activists.

While BlueSky has its own, those communities don’t have to wait to establish trust amongst their members.
In atproto – the open network we’re built on – anybody can publish verifications. In the Bluesky app, Bluesky chooses whose verifications to show.

This means that other apps could choose a different set of trusted verifiers, or use a different model entirely.

Shall we dust off solutions to Fermi?

Imagine that we just happen to evolve in a quarantined zone and we’re stuck with whatever the rest of the universe was trying to contain 🤣🤣

Better late than never, but should’ve been done on Day 1.

We need this at every level; city, state and county until we can vote out every Republican because they are all complicit.
Tangible, direct action from Sen. Schatz. We love to see it.

Can’t believe I’m just now seeing this.

You’d think the country that invented super sized drinks and had a copyright on freedom would set the highest bar for protests… but France had us beat by a country mile and this isn’t the only example 🤣

I absolutely love #Andor but season one was already emotional and the "US being the Empire" undertone was just a hint and the portrayal of the rebellion was so inspirational. Maarva's speech was perfect!

But I'm not sure I can bear season two with how bad things are getting here in reality...
alright, no more Severance talk. it's Andor season.

Its so easy to use and frictionless to support a local book shop.

Also as a Product nerd, the single line credit card input on the web version is the best implementation I’ve seen in a while 🤗

This wordplay isn’t surprising for those of us who see how mugshots are weaponized for minorities.

Still, it’s easy forget how easily the mind is tricked and is worth a refresher.

We need to stop playing defense and start framing the narrative ourselves, starting with what articles we share.
