If you voted MAGA or were eligible to vote and didn't, or wrote in, we don't have anything in common. You clearly didn't understand the assignment.

Black Americans, it's time to turn inwards again. Build our own. Support our own. Protect our own.

Read the tea leaves and comprehend how easy it is for them to strip the grudgingly given vestiges away. The revolution will not happen on social media.

Return to your community and roots. 👊🏽

When you listen to people like David and @indivisible.org they would have you believe AIPAC controls the Democratic Party. Here’s why that’s a lie and it plays to the familiar antisemitic troupe.

The thing is, I was and will be absolutely delighted to cast my vote to ensure that fascists do not take power.

If you also do not find yourself sufficiently delighted to ensure fascists do not take power, then I think you're not actually antifascist.
I will crawl through broken glass to vote against a a Republican bc my life depends on it.

i'm like a broken record with this.

the democratic party is bound by social justice, not economic theory.

period.

it's not about class. it's not about whatever the bs of the day is.

it's about social justice.

Let’s not ever underestimate the financial advantage and wealth generations enjoyed from the labor of the enslaved. That benefit persists through generations, including in positions of power in the government now.
The American right does not defend slavery because progressives say it was bad. They defend slavery because racial hierarchy has been an important and increasingly explicit component of their ideology for 70 years. Read a fucking book.

This is not new and AGAIN FOR THE SLOW PEOPLE IN THE BACK. Black Americans have been vocalizing concerns about wealth inequality THROUGH NETWORKS since the early 19th century, often framing it as a direct consequence of stolen labor and systemic exclusion from capital.
We can't fall into right-wing populism’s lie that the most vulnerable in society are to blame for wealth inequality in our countries. We need to build movements that tell the truth: the story of wealth inequality is not a cultural one, but a class one.

That’s my concern. They aren’t building all these detention centers just for immigrants, I fear.

I don’t think that’s going to work out the way they want it to, though.

As far as to what end, the cruelty is always the point with these people.

AOC on why Trump returned to office: "when you have economic stagnation, for the working class that, especially in an environment where GDP is growing, that is the stuff of populist movement. The choice is what direction those populist movements can go."

Since Tattoo Boy is in the news again, a reminder that the Nazi tattoo wasn't just a "Jolly Roger" pirate flag or some obscure symbol as Platner breezily shrugged it off. It wasn't the icon used for toxic/poisonous chemicals. It wasn't the logo of Yale University's "Scull & Bones" society. 1/
This is just an absolutely ridiculous piece of text. This writer ignores known evidence while bending over backwards to excuse Nazi symbols and racism.
