I will not hesitate to block you.

If you voted MAGA or were eligible to vote and didn't, or wrote in, we don't have anything in common. You clearly didn't understand the assignment.

I can't believe what you say because I see what you do. - James Baldwin
I get it. He didn't win by a landslide though. In fact, his numbers aren't strong against a sex pest and nut job. There are voters who are highly motivated to make sure he remembers that.

That means he needs to work on alliance and persuasion to deliver for NYC, not force.

Looks like she won hers by more than he won his. Time will tell. Good Luck, NYC.

Guess I have to dust this off.

This is just a partial list. The best we can do is throw sand in the gears until we get access to real ammunition with majorities.
November 12, 2025 at 12:37 AM
I seriously doubt anyone is paying attention to @hobointhecorner.gay or their lists with this profile.

I get that, and was supportive of continuing the holdout. This doesn't thrill me.

By the same token, the GOP wasn't letting up on the ACA or feeding Americans. People that were going to realize who was at fault should have by now. People who don't are too out of it or malicious to win.

No winning.

Let me correct you on something key. Non-White voters were considerably angrier.

Looking at those stats, the majority demographic seems okay with how things are going. Maybe not the strongest signal about where all voters stand.

Just sayin'.

Nope. Unlike the criminal fruitcake in the Oval, he doesn't have party unity, SCOTUS down his pants and the majority in favor of the common welfare.
November 10, 2025 at 4:14 AM
I don't have the patience or inclination for a conversation about AOC.

Schumer's experience and contributions will go largely unappreciated and nothing is going to satisfy those that can't be satisfied. That doesn't change the fact that he has done a helluva job in the worst of times.
November 10, 2025 at 3:16 AM
About most things, yes. Hopefully, the takeaway will be that Dems pushed it as far as they could without accelerating the demise of SNAP with a SCOTUS ruling.

The opposite possibility is Murc's Law in full effect. Time will tell.

🤔
November 10, 2025 at 2:29 AM
Point me to a single minority athlete athlete calling out people receiving SNAP. There will be crickets.

Stop trying to divert from White people punching down. Stop trying to frame this as class warfare. The way the majority of the bloc votes let's us know where they stand on empathy.

As have I. The difference is that my community seems to be getting it.
November 8, 2025 at 1:32 PM
I'm focused here.

If it was up to some of us, Ciattatelli would have had it in the bag. 🤔

It should haunt anyone that supports DSA also. They had eliminating DSA on their wish list. This ss is from the platform manifesto on their website as of July 5, 2025.
November 7, 2025 at 5:36 AM
The ones that baffle me more are the ones that stan DSA, and point to dying children as the reason. Eliminating USAID was on their wish list.

They've since removed it since 🍊 granted the wish, but this screenshot is from the published platform on their website as of July 5 this year.

Our votes + our wallets. If we are serious about opposition, they recognize the value of the 2 pronged approach.

Yes, give everything you have to voting and influencing voting. Also, speak America's language ($$$) for immediate impact. They shouldn't be resting on their laurels until the next vote.
November 6, 2025 at 8:45 PM
It's also NOT insanity. Americans responding to the GOP shutdown gave us much needed election wins.
November 6, 2025 at 1:20 PM
We need to use our financial power. It moved the needle and changed some things. People power is the tail that wags the dog.

We have to speak in a language they can't ignore.

Oh my goodness. You're such a child. 🙂

Which part of this were you not for?
November 5, 2025 at 6:24 PM
Evidently, you prefer misery and pain. To each their own. Not going to kink shame. 🤷🏽‍♀️

Here's something productive to do instead of harshing my vibe, Stephen. Work on your brethren.
