Despite years of citing severe staffing shortages as the reason Seattle police can’t respond fast enough or at all to many serious crimes, today Mayor Bruce Harrell assured Seattle residents that there’s always enough cops around to harass the city’s queer community.

Hate to break it to you, internet strangers, but the Reasonable Concerns industrial complex has convinced a significant percentage of the population that trans people spawn as blank slate NPCs whose entire internal monologue is "I must transition" and need to be Made Aware of basic information

I hadn’t gotten to post my March reads yet. 33 this month: 2x as many as February; 2/3 fiction, so more fiction than non-fiction has remained a trend for me so far this year. Lots of middle grade books as I needed easy reads during late nights while grieving and recovering from surgery.
