I attended a virtual American Bar Association civil rights bootcamp today. (Non-attorney advocates were welcome.) I had to step away sev. times to deal w/ other stuff, but I took some useful notes re: interfacing w/ policy makers (local, state & federal legislators); I'll try to do a 🧵 this weekend.
