I don’t use social media to argue about politics with strangers.

I use social media to talk to people about fish.

When I talk about fish on Bluesky, people ask me questions about fish.

When I talk about fish on Twitter, people threaten to murder my family because we’re Jewish.
"Bluesky is an echo chamber."
"Bluesky doesn't have enough reach"
"Liberals must return to X to challenge the far right"

I'm not a tech bro or a journalist. Your priorities are not my priorities. Stop telling me I need to do anything other than chat about comics & telly with people who seem nice.

These MAGA stooges that are now impersonating the Pentagon press corps? According to this story, they're also being deployed as shadow operatives to go after the real reporters looking into DOD officials.
1/ MUST READ: @dfriedman.bsky.social asked the Pentagon about a Goodreads page linked to the email of a top official that featured pornographic books. Then, MAGA influencer—and newly minted member of DOD press corps—Jack Posobiec threatened to smear him.

Quite the coincidence!

By appeasing the far right, you do not weaken it. You strengthen it.
While weakening your own position.

Even if everything in chat GPT was accurate (which it's not) there's a lot of trial and error in dealing with a newborn and figuring out what works for that specific kid.
