But poking at Resolve 20.2 revealed:
1. Apple Log 2 appears to use the same transfer function as Apple Log.
2. Apple Log 2 primaries are wider virtual primaries, rather than the Rec.2020 of Apple Log.

As is typical of Apple’s overzealous drive to simplify, the controls are hobbled and yield unexpected results.
And I see some wild (bad) advice floating around online.
I’d be wary and run your own careful tests before painting yourself into a corner with it.
