UNIXy Guy. He/him. Prone to shouting "PUPPY" in public.

I frequently (almost every day, in fact) give away Kindle genre books using #KindleBookGiveaway hashtag, and wrote a feed named "Kindle Book Giveaway" -- but remember bsky has hashtags now!
Pinned
For the past few years, I have been giving out ebooks for free. These are almost (but not always) US Kindle books; I sometimes to UK/IE Kindle books as well. I get asked about this a lot, so here are some notes:
• I will use the hashtag #KindleBookGiveaway
• These are legally purchased books
I had forgotten that @okbjgm.bsky.social managed to get Todd Stashwick in an episode of The Middleman.

Cached US #KindleBookGiveaway: 10 copies of Only You Can Save Mankind (The Johnny Maxwell Trilogy Book 1), by Terry Pratchett, which I have, have read, have given out before, and very much like although the things pterry did to that poor kid...

I don't think the economics on the show Tracker work.

Heads up: as pointed out to me by @galatfemme.bsky.social, A SORCERESS COMES TO CALL by @tkingfisher.com is on US ebook sale for $3, so I got some for random giveaway. I consider this a horror story.

Ok, I want to see more shows where Jensen Ackles is a super-competent good guy. He's done that in Supernatural and Tracker.

He'd probably be good in as a John Wick-type character now.

A fun story related to this: I took french in high school and did very well. A few years later, after I got a CD player, I got an album by Celine Dion, which contained some songs in french, and was listening to one. It was Le Fils de Superman.
“I’m mad I can’t understand Bad Bunny’s lyrics because they’re not in English”

my brother millions of metalheads around the world have been happily listening to incomprehensible Finnish shrieks and Japanese death grunts since we were teens, you’re just boring and racist

My first guess was THE FAST AND SLOW AUDIO, and I've never heard this phrase.

I think I'll be rewatching Ever After sometime this month.

I'm currently reading Agent Zero by @lilithsaintcrow.com; I've also read Coyote Run and She-Wolf and Cub, and I'm sensing some common themes. I won't be surprised to find out they're all in the same world, really.

I'm pretty depressed now, so no spiel.

Without naming your job, tell me something you say over and over again at work:

"Why the fuck won't that merge?"
Without naming your job, tell me something you say over and over again at work.

"Do you know the title or author?"

'Here are the concepts I've come up with for this project so far. Do any of these (or any variation of these) look like they might work? Thanks! :) '

Heads up: Hench by @nataliezed.bsky.social is on US ebook sale for $2. This was recommended to me by @cstross.bsky.social, and boy was he *right on target*. It's a great book, and a fantastic commentary on policing. Also, a sequel is coming out this year.

I got some copies for random giveaway, ofc.

This makes me super sad, and I'm already having a really bad night, so here are 5 US Kindle copies of @kbspangler.com's Stoneskin, which is a book I love and have given out lots, so please find people who don't have it.

#KindleBookGiveaway
Yes! I'm slammed hard and those books didn't earn out for labor and production costs, but I love them too and want to revisit them when I can afford it.
