Simply amazing how bad this is. A paid professional designed this and an even higher paid engineer approved it.
Yes, the city needs to actually repave streets. Yes, the city needs to repair sidewalks. Yes, the city needs to install curb ramps.
But the bigger problem is that when LA decides to do anything at all to "help" pedestrians, the result looks like this complete and utter bullshit

If you have memories of the 1970s and lived to see the iPhone that’s just an incredible amount of (apparent*} technological progress and it seems to be really hard for people, but this cohort especially, to imagine it won’t just go on like this forever.
