Spanish always seems to abbreviate usted and ustedes as Ud. and Uds., even though they're not especially long words. I suppose it's like writing Mr. instead of Mister.

I still think the most likely outcome of this is either that the mainstream conservative movement, and the GOP with it, figure out how to kick these freaks out, or American conservatism is basically dead from an electoral perspective except in maybe Idaho.
I wrote a piece a few weeks ago claiming antisemitism was on the verge of going mainstream. It was clear to me that most people had trouble buying it.
That's understandable. But it's happening.
Example: Conservatives themselves are now saying that 30 to 40% of Zoomers in Washington are Groypers.

As a lawyer, I can say with reasonable confidence that studying for the bar via Chat GPT, and getting a prediction from a psychic usually will NOT be enough to actually pass the bar.
