Not every march needs to end with a specific homework assignment! As 50+ years of Prides show, sometime the point is simply to prove you exist. I think a lot of people felt much less alone after they went home yesterday; and that's a huge step towards joining something, anything, tomorrow.
One thing I'm struck by this weekend: The number of people saying "Ok, we marched, but this is having zero actual impact."
