The evidence is overwhelming. Surgical masks were not designed to protect against respiratory infection & are vastly inferior to respirators. For the WHO's advice not to reflect this is indefensible & dangerous. Please sign & share - open to scientists, doctors, patient advocate organisations, etc.

University of Minnesota scientists found that people with certain HLA genes linked to chronic fatigue syndrome bind weakly to viral and bacterial antigens, suggesting poor immune clearance may underlie ME/CFS, long COVID, and post-Lyme illness.

Great to visit St Mary’s Primary School in Battersea today - one of the first schools to receive indoor air quality filters as part of my initiative to improve children’s health.

More than 200 schools will be getting indoor air quality filters soon.

No surprise there (not to anyone who has paid any attention to the impact of air quality on health). Links to studies in 🧵👇. Worth flagging that outdoor air pollution isn't the full story. Indoors it can be compounded by pollution generated indoors & airborne pathogens- infections, allergens, etc

It was found that schools located in areas with the highest air pollution levels had the lowest attendance rates

For schools already in existence, it was recommended that their environmental quality should be investigated and improved if necessary

Traws Pharma has dosed the first patient in two Phase 2 trials of ratutrelvir, a ritonavir-free oral COVID-19 antiviral.

One compares it with Paxlovid, the other tests patients ineligible for Paxlovid.

Results are expected by the end of 2025.

Folks have been asking me which of the currently available UK #COVID vaccines are best, given that an older flavour, "KP2" is being given free on the NHS to the twelve or so people that remain eligible (😜🙄), whilst the newer "LP8.1" is available privately...

The authors outline several mechanisms by which the virus could remain in the human body and cause disease.
