The Cato study provides the first-ever 30-year analysis of the fiscal effects of immigration on government budgets.

Listen to Doris!
My family was imprisoned behind barbed wire and armed guards by our own government.

Not for what they did. But because of who they were. I was born in that internment camp.

My family history lives with me every day. It drives me to fight for my neighbors—for their rights and for their dignity.

Checking on @governor.ca.gov to see if this is true for #California too.
NEW: Abigail Spanberger this afternoon ordered that all state agencies leave ICE's 287(g) program.

This means that the state police (and some other agencies) will no longer be empowered to detain and arrest people for ICE.

Big, big move by the governor within weeks of coming into office.

Abigail Spanberger left the 287(g) program, which empowered state law enforcement to detain immigrants. Will Democrats also bar local police and sheriffs from the program?

The regime has proposed two rules intended to make it extremely difficult (if not impossible) for trans youth to receive the healthcare they need.

Here’s how you can help fight back: Though your public comments won't sway this transphobic regime, they will be very important for future lawsuits. 👇

FIRE and PROSECUTE every single one of them.
We used records from the gassing of Chicago's Little Village neighborhood to identify some other notable members of the unit: Bryan Belen Lleras, 32, Chad B. Hickman, 50, and Oscar A. Meza, 36.

Belen, Hickman (EZ-9), and Meza (EZ-13) joined CBP in 2017, 2000, and 2008, respectively.

ZERO #Federal officers should be attacking Americans.

We need a class action lawsuit against this oppression.
NEW: since last year, a pair of "highly trained" feds have been involved in an array of incidents attacking crowds with chemical weapons.

We used public records and open source analysis to identify Edgar Vazquez and Michael Sveum, alongside some other members of their tactical team.

Long overdue.

They should hold #ShadowHearings on:
❌ The crushing loss of the Department of #Education
❌ The ruination of the #EPA
❌ The catastrophe within the #NIH and #FDA

All of it.
You may not have heard, but it’s important. Dems are holding shadow hearings on ICE crimes. Witnesses provided harrowing and explosive accounts yesterday. I provide some highlights from the day, and I urge everyone to watch and amplify them. Link in the replies.

MetroLink was originally engineered to include electrification for air quality reasons!
In Riverside, Metrolink trains run alongside BNSF's busiest main line, where riders and trackside residents are exposed to pollution from dozens of diesel trains a day. Electrification from Fullerton to SB could improve passenger and freight service and clean up the air for all. #ElectrifyMetrolink

Something that's important to note is that the current ICE detention plan really requires a lot of companies to sell them buildings, and this is an easy point of pressure that denies them the space and resources.

Ultimately they'll try to build themselves, and then you go after the contractors

Smart Public Policy.
IMPORTANT: In 2023, the Youth Experiencing Homelessness Program began providing 120 youth ages 18-24 experiencing homelessness with $1,000 monthly until 2025.

By the end of the two-year period, 94% of participants reported they were housed.

The right thing to do, AND a smart financial investment.
