This is the movement I think many of us in the #disability and #chronicillness communities have been awaiting. I found a like minded person on another platform and since then they took the initiative to create a group part of @indivisible.org. Focus on national level issues. Virtual meetings.

MUST WATCH: Oceanside CA: Militarized DHS (HSI) smashed windows, assault rifles drawn, tossed flashbangs and sent drones into the apartment which had 2 kids inside. They then told neighbors they were going to use tear gas, and they’d probably be exposed. Please share widely. WTF

He was conducting routine immigration court work, escorting individuals from hearings.
He asked ICE for their warrant - well within his legal rights.

Whoa! NYC mayoral candidate and current city Comptroller Brad Lander seemingly arrested at the NYC immigration court while attending to escort someone attending their hearing.
Lander just got detained by federal agents as he tried to escort a man out of the courtroom. Lander was taken in an elevator with masked agents, along with one member of his NYPD security detail.

They convinced the masses that we were less than”. People taking up resources & not contributing in any way.

Cops on horses hitting dudes in plaid shirts with sticks because the dudes are not walking quite fast enough? Anyway totally insurrectiony, very invasion.
Incredibly chaotic scene here in downtown Los Angeles where LAPD have just charged protesters with horses while others fire munitions.

Add onto that the most affordable method of travel would be trains or buses. Places in which people are not required to make accessible by masking. What am I supposed to do? Walk to Canada or Mexico?

I can't help but thinking of all the poor disabled people who can't afford to travel to get updated vaccines because who knows how much longer they'll be covered by insurance/available in the US.
