As all this disgusting Epstein shit starts surfacing more and more, I hope we don't lose sight of the fact that apparently every major media outlet knew everything and instead spent their time money and energy attacking the trans community.

Ghislaine Maxwell lied about Trump never going to Epstein's house (directly contradicted by her email correspondence with Epstein), and she was rewarded for that lie with a transfer to a cushier prison. The coverup is happening in plain sight.

Goodnight to iconic Japanese actor

Tatsuya Nakadai - the dynamic, handsome star whose illustrious résumé doubles as a snapshot of Japanese cinema in its golden age - who has passed away at the age of 92.

Bracketing that they absolutely failed here. And bracketing that such a failure reflects a dearth of discipline, understanding, and acumen...

They just don't got the juice, man. Absolutely sauceless leadership.
CNN: Was the shutdown worth it?

HAKEEM JEFFRIES: We have waged a battle on behalf of the American people.

CNN: But you didn't get what you want.

JEFFRIES: At the end of the day, the fight lives on.

Coming back with yet another #Palisade Post Card for #FriendsAtTheTable. My 3rd card of 6 was centered on The Figure in Concrete & The Broken Spoke, framed as one of many Alise Breka novels. The pulp novel framing, here, was designed by @badbucket.bsky.social, and was used on multiple cards.

no bread, only circuses
Pretty much all affordability discourse could benefit from just posting this chart.

If you're in the better off America, all the luxury goods you want in excess are for the most part much cheaper. If you're in the poorer America, most of the shit you need to live/grow is more expensive.

Men like this are transphobes because they are, deep down, misogynists. They simply believe they are better than women at everything, and in trans women they have found a group it is alright to descriminate against. This man believes cis women are his physical inferiors, and needs you to know that.

Just thinking again how Democrats asked people to accept short-term suffering in order to give space to prevent long-term, worse suffering and then said, "Thanks for suffering in the short-term. You'll get to suffer long-term too so that our Thanksgiving plans don't get disrupted."

The original Dem demands were:
1) Permanent ACA subsidies
2) Medicaid funding restored
3) No more blank checks for the regime (rescission)

They dropped Medicaid immediately. Went silent on rescission. Cut back to 1 year of subsidies on Friday. And surrendered today.

The Senate Democrats!

Shaheen: We have a guaranteed vote by a guaranteed date…

Reporter: There is no guarantee that this will become law.

Shaheen: There was never a guarantee that it would be become law.

How about we shut down the government for this very popular and specific goal and then, hear me out, we hold out for like a month and a half and then, ok this part is important, after a watershed election where we ran the table, ONLY THEN, fold and don't get the one thing we said we wanted.

None of these Democrats should enjoy a moment's peace.

Cortez Masto (NV)
Durbin (IL)
Fetterman (PA)
Gillibrand (NY)
Hassan (NH)
Peters (MI)
Schatz (HI)
Schumer (NY)
Shaheen (NH)

They've effectively just voted for Donald Trump's agenda without putting up a fight. Never let them hear the end of it.

Chuck Schumer retire bitch
November 10, 2025 at 2:56 AM
The New Hampshire senate delegation are fucking feckless cowards. I can't believe I ever voted for them. I fucking campaigned for Shaheen in 2008.

You want to retire? Do it now and save us the pain of fucking dealing with you for the next year.

The coordinated nature of this—none are facing voters in 2026—means that either Schumer approved it or failed in his job as Senate Majority Leader to stop it.

Dems voting "no" get zero credit until they demand a change in leadership. Schumer out as Leader, Durbin out as Whip.
so currently defectors are:

Kaine (2030)
Shaheen (Retiring)
Hasan (2028)
Fetterman (2028)
Durbin (Retiring)
CCM (2028)
Rosen (2030)
King (2030)
