Yes, they are.

I guess they don’t care? MAHA and MAGA ideology and fealty to Trump & RFK Jr and proximity to power matter more than dead kids I guess?
They're going to kill a lot of people and a lot of those people are going to be kids.

It’s really simple…

- Cap all political donations
- Ban foreign donations
- Strict conflict‑of‑interest & anti‑corruption laws with penalties
- No titles, honours or peerages for donors
- No govt contracts for donors
- Publish every donation/lobby meeting

…that’ll do it.

The fact that four hostile drones tried to hit Zelenskyy’s plane & it’s barely a blip in the news cycle should terrify everyone. We’ve been dragged so deep into the chaos era that an attempted strike on a world leader doesn’t even break through. When this becomes normal, the world is in real danger.

Have to admit it. "Alcoholic Fox News host uses US Navy to kill people at random on boats in the Caribbean because an extremist podcast producer asked him to, while Trump pardons drug dealer kingpins because a tech guy asked" is rather a lot darker than anything I imagined when he was reelected.
Sadism is the lifeblood of MAGA politics. Hard to overstate how disgusting and embarrassing for our country it is for the US Secretary of Defense to be doing this:

The reparations loan, with its proposal to immobilise the Russian assets long-term with just a qualified majority, defies both Putin and Trump.

The EU, reeling from the shock of the 28-point plan, is now ready to play its most powerful card.

My analysis.

I get so frustrated with the fact that study after study shows that having a strong social safety net for everyone (UBI, healthcare, modest housing, etc.) costs less than every single one of our current thoroughly broken for-profit systems.
But we persist in restricting who "counts" as everyone.

Holy moly, do people still think the U.S. is an ally of Europe? It is now an officially stated foreign policy goal to undermine the EU and centrist European governments that don't ideologically align with MAGA.
Europeans are waking up this morning to find the new US National Security Strategy (quietly) released. And what it has to say on Europe could not be clearer. On the „stark prospect of civilizations erasure“ for example. 👇
