We need to get a proper UBI, with disability supports piled on top of that, not clawed back from it. And this is *not* how I want disability supports rules to be administered. We all need and deserve better than this.

I live in Canada on Disability Benefits that include a special diet allowance. A few years ago when I went to my pcp and filled out all these forms detailing my dietary restrictions, my benefit was only approved for $30. disabled people often can't eat "healthy food" because they can't afford it.
