One of the great features of @badsocialism.bsky.social's writing is that at no point does anybody have any idea what is going on; the UFP thinks there's a Romulan/Klingon Alliance, the Klingons think there's a Romulan/UFP Alliance, and not even the Romulans know why they attacked the Neutral Zone.

ASR (Advanced Sensor Redoubt) Vessels like the Marco Polo, Advent and Garrick were rare but vital assets during the early stages of the Federation-Klingon Cold War. Their sensor suites and long range subspace arrays were often the first line of defence for Starfleet within the Disputed Area.
Another TAS project WIP, this time based on a design by @ncc-60205.bsky.social (who probably thinks I'd forgotten all about it!)
I gave this Marco Polo-class ship some more modern and more utilitarian detailing than most of my other ships. /1

A certain generation of Trekkies would be much happier if they accepted the fact that not every piece of media in a sixty year old franchise is going to necessarily appeal to them. You are no longer the target audience, it happens to all of us.

To be clear: Lura Thok in #StarfleetAcademy is Klingon on her mother's side and Jem'Hadar on her father's side. If you can believe that Humans and Vulcans/Klingons/Betazoids can have offspring, you can also believe that in 800 years the Founders/somebody else created Jem'Hadar who could be fathers.
