I ❤️ Star Trek, every incarnation of it. Period. Don't try to read any negativity in my posts - it's simply not there.

Seen in Admiral Satie's quarters in #StarTrekTNG's "The Drumhead"⬆️ is a Bodum Ronde Design 4820 bowl, designed by Carsten Jørgensen. I can't make out what she keeps in that bowl. It's also seen on Malcor III in "First Contact"↘️ and later in Ten Foward in "The Game"↙️. "It's the whole experience." :-)

On Argelius II in #StarTrekTOS' "Wolf in the Fold", lots of fruit bowls with an assortment of Earth fruits and grapes of all colours are seen. It's funny, in #TOS, we either see the futuristic colourful food cubes or plain simple Earth fruits, usually on alien planets.

I love the interrogation room in #StarTrekTNG's "The Drumhead", it is just one big and impressive set (not connected to the main corridor set). :-)

For a few episodes in mid season 4 of #StarTrekTNG, Livingston was played by the wrong species of fish (a radial firefish (Pterois radiata), "Devil's Due"⬇️). In "The Drumhead"⬆️, the old Livingston has visibly returned, played by a familiar red lionfish (Pterois volitans) like in earlier episodes.

I'll finish coverage of #StarTrekTNG's "The Drumhead" today. Do yourself a favour and rewatch the episode, if you haven't already. It's more relevant than it has ever been in the last (almost) 35 years since it first aired.

The left LCARS button next to the port Observation Lounge wall screen had been missing for quite some time (#StarTrekTNG's "The Nth Degree"⬇️) but it was needed for Worf to turn off the display (unusually) from the left in "The Drumhead"⬆️ so a replacement quickly was found.

Purple plomeek soup in a bowl and purple plomeek soup on the USS Enterprise corridor walls, both in #StarTrekTOS' "Amok Time". I have found no proof yet for the claim that the faded purple spots on the walls and carpet could still be seen in later episodes but I'll keep looking! :-)

Here's a comparison of a Klingon warrior uniform (#StarTrekTNG's "Sins of the Father"⬅️) and J'Dan's civilian outfit in #The Drumhead"➡️). It seems the pants are the same and the belt buckle is clearly inspired by the warrior uniform (itself inspired by the #TOS Klingon bubble wrap belt buckles).

Doug Drexler posted this cool memento over at Facebook. There's still time to contribute to his Kickstarter campaign for the documentary about his life as a #StarTrek fan and his career in the art department:

Blink and you'll miss it - No, I really mean it! 😅 In a couple of #StarTrekTNG season 1 episodes (here in "Home Soil"), when the indication light under the main viewscreen is seen through the open ready room door, it flashes by insanely fast, faster then ever seen in bridge viewscreen shots. 🧵 1/2

A familiar lamp that is usually seen in Dr. Crusher's sickbay office (#StarTrekTNG's "Identity Crisis"➡️) also appears in the interrogation room in "The Drumhead"⬅️. This is one of the most often seen lamps on #TNG, the other one being the Ten Forward lamp.

Today is the 17th birthday of my best friends' son. He is autistic and has significant support needs. He has been watching #StarTrek with us in English since he was a baby and one thing he wants for his birthday every year is "Worf Geburtstag", meaning "Parallels", so we're watching this one today!😊

Besides Star Trek, another long standing interest of mine is Mesoamerican history and archaeology. You wouldn’t think there are a lot of connections between the two, but there are a few! So I thought I’d write a short thread about them (apologies if you’ve seen it before on the other site)…

One recurring Enterprise-D civilian with an orange outfit and a massive belt buckle is seen during the interrgoation room in #StarTrekTNG's "The Drumhead". I always think that this is a re-use of Kevin Uxbridge's costume from "The Survivors" but it isn't so I'm leaving this here so I don't forget.😅

An engineering tool that is only briefly seen in a corridor in "Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan"↖️ in 1982 can be seen much better as a weapon in the 1982 "Buck Rogers in the 25th Century" episode "Shgoratchx!"↗️↙️↘️. This is most likely a Modern Props creation. 🧵 1/2

The interrogation room in #StarTrekTNG's "The Defector"⬆️ and "The Drumhead"↙️ is one of the rooms on the Enterprise-D were 20th century acoustic wall tiles were used. In the former, Panorama tiles were used, in the latter (and in "Q Who"↘️) Vision tiles.

A large fruit bowl with grapes, apples, pears and oranges is seen on a table in Apollo's temple in #StarTrekTOS' "Who Mourns for Adonais?". There's this amusing moment were Kirk/Shatner non-verbally commands McCoy to move the pesky bowl away so he can properly be seen using his tricorder... ;-)

It's interesting to see what the opposite side (the one that is different each time) from the battle bridge back wall re-uses looks like in several episodes. Here it's seen in "The Measure of a Man"↖️, "The Ensigns of Command"↗️, "Booby Trap"⬅️, "TBoBWII"➡️, "First Contact"↙️ and "The Drumhead"↘️

Interestingly, only Kras the Klingon is seen drinking some unidentified beverage from a golden cup in #StarTrekTOS' "Friday's Child". All the Capellans and the Enterprise landing party are not getting a drink at all.

When directing #StarTrekTNG's "The Battle", director Rob Bowman must have decided to make the bridge look really really busy through the ready room door. Never again will so many people be seen prancing around the bridge through the briefly open ready room door than in these short scenes.
