I ❤️ Star Trek, every incarnation of it. Period. Don't try to read any negativity in my posts - it's simply not there.

If you look closely, you can see that the wider (blurry) star chart seen in #StarfleetAcademy's "Ko'Zeine" features a large circle at the left and right. It seems to read "Galactic Barrier". When completing the circle, it becomes apparent that this cannot be the whole Milky Way, it's way too small.

I'm happy I finally have time time to feature the "Tales from the Frontier" comic, seen in #StarfleetAcademy's "Come, Let's Away".😊 I have assembled all the pages seen in the episode but as a special gift, here's the cover and back page of the comic, provided to me by its designer: Stu Pearce! 🧵 1/4

Both star charts seen in #StarfleetAcademy's "Come, Let's Away"⬅️ and "Ko'Zeine"➡️ feature a string of 10 locations, marked in red and shaped like a sickle or a fishing hook. Earth/Sol (the star on the left of the second map) is at the center of the curved hook. I wonder what this is. 🤔

We get a blurry but wider look at the space chart a little later in #StarfleetAcademy's "Ko'Zeine". Spinward (left) of Federation space, you can barely make out the 32nd century Ferengi and (possibly) Cardassian emblems, seen better in "Kids These Days" (2nd pic middle). 🧵 1/2

Who are those Sarrotheyn that have taken over some parts of Romulan space, as seen in the star chart in #StarfleetAcademy's "Ko'Zeine" (1st pic), you might ask! They are an alien species introduced in season 3 of #StarTrekDiscovery (2nd pic), also seen in seasons 4 (3rd+4th pic) and 5.

Here's a comparison of the 32nd century star chart seen in #StarfleetAcademy's "Ko'Zeine" (middle) and two 23rd century star charts from #StarTrekSNW ("Spock Amok"⬆️, "Subspace Rhapsody"⬇️). I've marked the Alpha/Beta Quadrant border and the following locations for reference: 🧵 1/2

I've enjoyed #StarfleetAcademy's latest, introspective episode "Ko'Zeine" a lot today and I'll spend tonight writing about the star charts seen in the episode. 🖖

Yes!!! I hope we get some more images of the cool Federation Council aliens! :-)

Psilosynine, the neurotransmitter involved in Betazoid empathy and telepathy was first established in season 7 of #StarTrekTNG, in "Dark Page" (1st pic, 2nd row) and "Eye of the Beholder" (⬇️). It is mentioned again in #StarfleetAcademy's "Beta Test"⬆️ and "Come, Let's Away" (2nd pic).

Interestingly, Geordi's type-15 shuttlepod, the Onizuka, which is a (unusual) one-seat shuttle when he's abducted by the Romulans early in #StarTrekTNG's "The Mind's Eye"⬆️ has become a two-seat shuttlepod again later in the episode ↙️, just like in most other episodes ("The Price"↘️).

Here are some more graphics of the (31st century) Constitution-class USS Miyazaki, as seen in #StarfleetAcademy's "Come, Let's Away". The underslung second smaller saucer underneath the main saucer section can be seen in these images.

According to turbolift interfaces, seen clearly in #StarfleetAcademy's "Series Acclimation Mil"⬅️ and "Come, Let's Away"➡️, the Academy-class USS Athena has 35 decks.

In #StarfleetAcademy's "Come, Let's Away"⬆️ , Nus Braka says that he controls a stretch of space in the Taygeta system. Taygeta is one of the stars in the Pleiades. An image of the Pleiades is seen on the Enterprise library computer screen in #StarTrekTOS "The Cage"⬇️, I circled Taygeta in red.

After watching #StarfleetAcademy's "Come, Let's Away", I can cornform that Nahla's Intrepid class model nacelles are still sagging ⬇️ and that her model of a Nimitz-class ship is still upside down ⬆️. :-)

A good look at the engine subsys LCARS display at the back of the type-15 shuttlepod cockpit in #StarTrekTNG's "The Mind's Eye"↖️ reveals that it's of the same type as the recurring holodeck control display ("The Emissary"↙️) and the twin science lab wall displays ("Home Soil"➡️).
February 17, 2026 at 8:15 PM
According to #StarfleetAcademy's "Come, Let's Away"⬆️, Nus Braka has a built up a smuggling operation in the T Tauri star system. This is the actual star T Tauri, that the class of T-Tauri type stars (one of them orbited by the Paxan homeworld) is named after in #StarTrekTNG's "Clues"⬇️.

Here are some of Ben and Jake Sisko's ancestors, as seen in the Sisko Museum in #StarfleetAcademy's "Series Acclimation Mil". One seems to have been a soldier, another a famous baseball player. Jeremiah Sisko jr. was a decorated chef and more details about a female ancestor cannot be made out.

Here are a few (close-up) shots of the Academy class USS Athena, as seen in #StarfleetAcademy's "Come, Let's Away". I hope we'll get a model of the ship in the coming months! :-)

Here are two graphics of the 32nd century Intrepid class USS Sargasso, as seen in #StarfleetAcademy's "Come, Let's Away".

The original back wall of the type 15 shuttlepod (#StarTrekTNG's "Time Squared"↖️, "The Price"↗️) was removed for "The Most Toys"⬅️ so a trunk could be created at the back. It still looks like that in "Devil's Due"➡️ but since "Identity Crisis"↙️ and "The Mind's Eye", the back wall has been restored.
February 16, 2026 at 8:15 PM
According to Lura Thok in #StarfleetAcademy's "Come, Let's Away"⬆️, Genesis Lythe uses her eyes "with the precision of a hengra". The hengra(uggi) first appeared on Delta Vega in "Star Trek '09"⬇️. As the screenshot shows, it is a many-eyed creature.
February 16, 2026 at 7:30 PM
According to the exhibition in the Sisko Museum in #StarfleetAcademy's "Series Accilmation Mil", one of Benjamin Sisko's descendants is Jada Ava Sisko. We don't know much about here, as the text that accompanies her museum display is illegible. It seems the USNT had a report about her, though.

Here are the front and back pages of the "Tales from the Frontier" comic book, as seen on a bridge display ⬆️ and in real life ⬇️ (much more silvery) in #StarfleetAcademy's "Come, Let's Away".
February 16, 2026 at 6:00 PM
In season 2 of #StarTrekTNG, Geordi still had to transfer engineering control to the bridge by voice command ("Where Silence..."↖️, "Unnatural Selection"↗️, "Time Squared"⬅️, "The Emissary"➡️) but by season 3+4 ("The Mind's Eye"⬇️), the aft bridge station went live as soon as Geordi entered the bridge.

We finally get a good look at a lynar, "a kind of Celtran bat" in #StarfleetAcademy's "Come, Let's Away"⬆️, after we only got a fleeting look at it in #StarTrekTNG's "Chain of Command I"⬇️. I uploaded an image of the lynar to #MemoryAlpha 20+ years ago and it's still there! 😄 🧵 1/2
